Serial to Wifi Module – WS-120

Dual Operation Modes Design

WS-120M can operate as the host or the client. In the Virtual Com Mode (Infrastructure), software drivers establish a transparent connection between host and serial device by mapping the IP port of the WS-120M serial port to a local COM/TTY port on the host computer. In the Peer-to-Peer mode (Ad-hoc), you can easily build up the wireless connection for the devices with RS-232 connectors. It provides superior flexibility for wireless network deployment.

Multiple Protocol and Management interface Support

WS-120 supports ICMP, IP, TCP, UDP, DHCP Client, Telnet, DNS, SNMP, HTTP and Telnet. By default, we offer different management interfaces, such as Telnet Console, Web browser, SMTP, and SNTP for the selection. The configuration information for both TCP/IP and serial ports is kept in the Flash.
