One of the most powerful Bluetooth modules available, the KC-11 Bluetooth OEM Amplified Module is designed for maximum wireless range and penetration. The powerful onboard amplifier boosts both the transmission and reception signals - typically exceeding Bluetooth minimum specifications for a class 1 rated device.

The KC-11 is a surface mount PCB module that provides fully embedded, ready to use Bluetooth wireless technology. The reprogrammable flash memory contains embedded firmware for serial cable replacement using the Bluetooth SPP profile. Other popular Bluetooth profiles are available.

We are able to quickly customize the firmware for external device interaction, or for optimizations such as minimal power consumption, high speed response, custom audio, and other proprietary features. Custom firmware is easily pre-loaded into these highly tuned and tested modules so that they are ready to install without additional procedures.

Firmware:

KC Wirefree modules come standard with our powerful kcSerial firmware. Controlling the module is easy through any terminal software program. Communicating with the module is simple with ASCII AT-style commands.

Standard Host Command Interface (HCI) firmware is supported. However, since HCI bypasses most of the embedded functionality and value in the KC-11 modules, we recommend less costly modules without flash memory and micro processors.

KC Wirefree offers custom firmware services, eliminating the need for customers to perform firmware or parameters installation on production line, reducing significantly the production cost, time and complexity.
