ZigBit 900 Module with Balanced RF Output - MNZB-900-B0

ZigBit 900 Module with Balanced RF Output - MNZB-900-B0

ZigBit OEM Module Key Features

  • Outdoor range: up to 6000m (over 3.7 miles)
  • US and European Sub-1 GHz ISM band
  • Data rate: up to 1Mbit/s
  • Battery lifetime: 10 years
  • Network topology: Point-to-Point, Star, Tree, Mesh
  • Serial AT-commands for easy prototyping and quick setup
  • Less than half square inch footprint

ZigBit 900 Module with Balanced RF Output minimizes bill of materials (BOM) and shortens time to market, while embedded 802.15.4 / ZigBee software ensures standards-based wireless connectivity for a wide range of applications.

ZigBit 900 Module Hardware Platform

ZigBit 900 already contains a complete RF/MCU design with all the necessary passive components included. The module can be easily mounted on a simple 2-layer PCB with a minimum of required external connection. Compared to a single-chip solution, a module-based solution offers considerable savings in development time and NRE cost per unit during the design, prototyping, and mass production phases of product development.

  • JTAG
  • 9 spare GPIOs (up to 25 GPIOs total)
  • 2 spare IRQ lines
  • 4 ADC lines

ZigBee Software Options: BitCloud stack, SerialNet

ZigBit module is compatible with all three stack configurations available from MeshNetics

  • BitCloud stack that is tailored for easy-to-use networking in sensing, control, monitoring and data acquisition applications. It supports mesh and tree network topologies.
  • SerialNet is used for programming of the module via serial AT-command interface. SerialNet emulates standard BitCloud functionality so that developers can control BitCloud stack without any need to program the MCU directly.

Easy Development with ZigBit 900 Development Kit

The ZigBit 900 Development Kit enables developers to write custom embedded applications using ZigBee PRO-certified stack API. It also provides a convenient way to assess range performance and power consumption of modules in target physical environment. Each kit includes evaluation boards with sensors, accessories, software and documentation.
